Luvera Law Firm earns elite 2023 rankings in U.S.News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” guide for 13th consecutive year

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Luvera Law Firm has earned two tier-one designations in the 2023 U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings for its excellence in personal injury litigation and medical malpractice law for the 13th consecutive year.

“We are excited to celebrate our 13th recognition from our peers and thrilled to be included in this year’s guide for our work in personal injury litigation and medical malpractice,” said Robert Gellatly, Luvera Law Firm managing partner. “At Luvera Law Firm, we are proud to serve as fearless advocates for seriously injured people and their families, helping drive positive change across industries to improve safety for everyone.”

The “Best Law Firms” guide elevates select law firms to recognize professional excellence and consistently stellar ratings from clients and peers. While the attorneys at Luvera Law Firm know first-hand how much their clients value their advocacy, this recognition further emphasizes the consistent track record of professionalism and integrity.

Luvera Law Firm has built a reputation of pursuing a wide range of personal injury cases, holding negligent and reckless individuals, government entities and corporations accountable for the harm caused by their actions. The firm recently secured a $150 million verdict on behalf of the family of a former City of Seattle planning official, who was the victim of a crane collapse in 2019. Additionally, the firm secured $16.75 million and $10 million verdicts for four individuals injured in the Washington state Amtrak train derailment.

In addition to personal injury advocacy, Luvera Law Firm has long been recognized for helping clients of all ages with medical malpractice and negligence claims. The team achieved an $18 million settlement on behalf of a former Swedish Health Services nurse who suffered a devastating stroke after a radiologist missed clear warning signs on an MRI. In the firm’s case against University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), a jury rendered a $1.48 million verdict on behalf of a patient who was injured as a result of the medical center’s failure to adequately train its staff on proper patient handling policy.

The U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are determined by a rigorous peer-review survey comprised of evaluations from leading lawyers, as well as client evaluations, and peer reviews from top attorneys in their field. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have one lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 5 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. The 2023 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and the highest number of client ballots on record.
