Luvera Law Firm founding attorney Paul Luvera was honored with the Washington Association of 2014 Justice Pillar of Justice Award. The Associations website describes the award as going to “a person, persons or organization who has made superior, extraordinary contributions or achievements to advance the mission of WSAJ through representation of injured persons, participation in legislative efforts, development of case law, or raising awareness of the civil justice system and the right to jury trial”.
Paul received the honor from WSAJ President Stephen Bulzomi. The award reads ““For your extraordinary contributions to the Washington State Association for Justice – formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association; your outstanding skills as a trial lawyer; your tenacious and tireless advocacy to secure justice for those harmed by the powerful and privileged; and your dedication to teach trial skills, as well as mentoring generations of trial lawyers.” Bulzomi said of Luvera, “Paul has shown us the paradigm of what it means to be a trial lawyer: to fearlessly advocate for the victim, to stand up to the powerful, and make them answer for the harm that they cause, and to deliver justice to his clients. Perhaps Paul’s greatest contributing to us has been his willingness to share what he has learned, to mentor and teach each new generation of trial lawyers, to communicate effectively with juries, to stand up in court and fight for justice.””
