AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR JUSTICE
This organization is dedicated to promoting and protecting consumer safety, the right to trial by jury, and America’s civil justice system.
AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES (ABOTA)
The general purpose of this association is to foster and evaluate the standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession. ABOTA advocates must have a minimum of 50 civil jury trials. Membership is by invitation only.
AMERICAN COLLEGE OF TRIAL LAWYERS
The American College of Trial lawyers is regarded by lawyers as the most prestigous legal organization in the country. It’s membership is limited to one percent of trial lawyers in the state who are invited to join on the basis of demonstrating high standards of ethical conduct, trial skills and administration of justice
BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA
Best Lawyers in America is widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States. Best Lawyers is compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey in which thousands of the top lawyers in the U.S. confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, Best Lawyers has gained the respect of the legal profession, the media, and clients as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals anywhere. Paul Luvera has been named in The Best Lawyers in America since the publication’s inception in 1983.
Damage Attorneys Round Table (DART)
Members of this organization must possess skills in placing that individual in the upper five percent of all trial lawyers in Washington state. These attorneys must be engaged in the representation of claimants seeking damages for bodily injury. There are only 16 members in the State of Washington. Membership is by invitation only.
INNER CIRCLE OF ADVOCATES
This invitation-only organization is limited to 100 top plaintiff trial lawyers in the United State. The Luvera Law Firm is the only law firm in Washington state to have two members in The Inner Circle of Advocates, Paul Luvera and Joel Cunningham.
INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF TRIAL LAWYERS
This organization is limited to 500 members in the United States. To be admitted to fellowship in The Academy, the person must possess to an exceptional degree the highest standards and techniques of advocacy. Membership is by invitation only.
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF BARRISTERS
This organization is limited to those advocates who by virtue of their resourcefulness, courage, and other professional qualities, have distinguished themselves as outstanding in the field of advocacy. Membership is by invitation only
Washington State Association for Justice
This organization, established in 1953, commands nationwide respect in its work to promote a fair justice system and the right to trial by jury, and to ensure that any person who is harmed by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even in actions against the most powerful interests.
