CENTER FOR WOMEN & DEMOCRACY

Lita Barnett-Luvera has traveled to Cuba with Senator Cantwell and a group of Women leaders through the U of W Center For Women and Democracy. On this mission 41 women met with Cuban women and Fidel Castro. The goal of the mission was to give women ideas and support to help them become more democratic.

This is one of the oldest charitable organizations in the area which supports Northwest charities. Lita Barnett-Luvera has served on the Board of Trustees for PONCHO for more than 15 years. PONCHO is dedicated to promote the importance of Arts and Arts Education in the Northwest.

We have an office in Skagit County and this organization provides legal aid to those who can’t afford a lawyer. It is sponsored by the Skagit County Bar Association.

This domestic violence center in Tacoma is due in large part to our firm’s representation of the children of Crystal Judson Brame who was murdered by her husband, the Tacoma Chief of Police

Paul Luvera has been asked by Gerry Spence to be a teacher at this training school for lawyers since the school began
